Not everything needs to be made from scratch — sometimes a few careful adjustments are all it takes to make a garment fit beautifully and feel like your own.
I offer alterations and repairs on everyday clothing as well as special pieces, here in Swindon. Whether it’s a pair of jeans that are too long, a dress that needs taking in, a jacket that doesn’t sit quite right, or a zip that’s given up, I’m happy to help.
Alterations and repairs I regularly carry out include:
- Taking up hems on trousers, jeans, skirts and dresses
- Taking garments in or letting them out for a better fit
- Replacing zips and buttons
- Shortening sleeves and adjusting shoulders
- Tapering trousers and jeans
- Repairs and small fixes
When you bring an item in, we’ll talk through what you’d like and I’ll let you know what’s possible and what it will cost before any work begins. Most alterations are straightforward, and I’ll always agree a collection date with you.
